First Meet of Inbound Exchange Students, Academic Year 2021/2
On Monday, February 14, 2022, the Engineering Expat Club of the Faculty of Engineering and International School of Engineering organized a gathering “First Meet for Inbound Exchange Students”, Academic Year 201/2 at Room 305 Engineering Building 2. All students passed Antigen Tests and strictly followed the guidelines for organizing student activities. The exchange students are from partner universities from France, Germany, and Japan. In the First Meet, they met with Thai students and mingled through fun games and creative activities. At the end, exchange students got pair up with Thai student buddies. It is hoped that Thai buddies would show hospitality to exchange students and both will deepen friendship throughout the semester.

AerCap Announces Scholarship Program with Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University,Faculty of Engineering Supporting the growth and development of aviation in the SE Asia Region BANGKOK – Thursday, February 17, 2022 - AerCap Holdings N.V. (“AerCap” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AER) today announced it will provide 10 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Engineering at the International School of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s number one ranked university and a world-class leader in aerospace engineering education. Over a 4-year period, AerCap will provide 10 fully funded scholarships to students of the undergraduate degree program in Aerospace Engineering. In addition to the scholarships, AerCap will provide a range of tailored supports to students, including guest lectures and workshops, and summer internships. As part of the scholarship program, final year students will undertake a research project in collaboration with AerCap. The project will focus on AerCap’s environmental objectives, to transition to a lower-carbon economy through the purchase of new technology fuel-efficient aircraft, to reduce its carbon footprint and to drive sustainable growth for its airline customers and the wider aviation industry. During this time, AerCap has developed deep ties with the Thai aviation industry through its partnership with Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Air Asia X Thailand and Nok Air. ABET Preparation for Nano and AERO Programs
On Thursday January 13, 2022, ISE organized a meeting on the topic ABET Preparation Meeting at the Faculty of Engineering, as well as via ZOOM Application. Prof. Dr. Methi Wecharatana from New Jersey Institute of Technology was invited as a guest speaker. The main purpose of the meeting was to report the progress of AERO and NANO program revisions towards ABET accreditation. There were 15 participants including Dean, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, ISE Director, Deputy Directors, AERO curriculum management committee, NANO curriculum management committee, and ISE staff. Prof. Methi gave constructive comments and suggestions for the program revision.

AUN/SEED-NET MONITORING VISIT OF FISCAL YEAR 2021 AT CHULA ENGINEERING
On Friday 3, December 2021, AUN/SEED-Net and ISE organized the monitoring session for AUN/SEED-Net scholarship students of Fiscal Year 2021. Chula Engineering currently has 5 graduate students under the scholarship. They are studying in Dept. of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Water Resources Engineering. The main purpose of the monitoring session was to monitor the study progress of scholarship students. In addition, there was information related to the opportunities for AUN/SEED-Net alumni and available resources for the networking and career enhancement after graduation. Participants of the monitoring session consisted of assistant director and staff of AUN/SEED-Net secretariat, deputy director and staff of ISE, student's adviser, and scholarship students.

Congratulations to CUHAR, the team of second−year ISE Aerospace Engineering students who has been selected to enter Spaceport America Cup 2022! Spaceport America Cup hosts thousands of the worlds most ambitious collegiate rocketeers who will gather in Southern New Mexico for the fourth annual Spaceport America Cup in 2022. Participants from over 150 institutions all across the USA and around the world will engage in design-build-fly style rocket and payload engineering competitions in a professional setting. The team of AERO students CUHAR are led by Puwit Chaowanapreecha, Siriwat Sirirattanachaikul, Pwint Krittiyanithi, Peeravich Chirakunakorn, Pasin Manaspiya, Kittanu Hongsevihok, Nitipote Seubhanich and Phuwanut Pataratawinun.
