AerCap ESG Challenge 2023
We are thrilled to announce that the winning project of the AerCap ESG Challenge 2023 is the "Improving Efficiency of Turnaround Time in Airport Ground Operation" project by Jamorn Wacharasing and Natchaphol Prakobphol This outstanding project aims to streamline airport ground operations, minimizing turnaround time between flights and increasing overall efficiency. By optimizing processes and implementing innovative technologies, the work will contribute to reducing environmental impact and enhancing the overall performance of the aviation industry. On 19th May, Chulalongkorn University hosted the AerCap ESG Challenge, sponsored by AerCap, the global leader in aviation leasing and the largest owner of commercial aircraft in the world. During the event, Aerospace Engineering students showcased their innovative ideas and solutions to tackle environmental, social, and governance challenges in the aviation industry. The projects entered in this year's competition were truly remarkable, covering a wide range of areas in aviation from designing electric aircraft to reduce carbon emissions, to utilizing 3D printing technology to create lightweight and sustainable structures. This year’s participants exemplify the future of aviation, driving sustainable practices and addressing crucial challenges in the industry. Their passion and ingenuity are paving the way for a greener and more responsible aviation sector. Let's celebrate their incredible achievements and commend AerCap for their dedication in promoting ESG initiatives in the aviation field.

ISE ADME-HRAP Special Talk Session for supporting academic knowledge-sharing
ISE ADME-HRAP Special Talk Session for supporting academic knowledge-sharing On November 22, 2022, Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME) program by Introduction to Automotive Engineering Course invited an honorable guest speaker representative from Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. (HRAP) for knowledge sharing and university and industry joint power link us together. This year we went so far as to bring design simulations like the Clay Model and VR from the real world of design to our classroom, in which every student has the experience to try to understand how to integrate the working functionality of car design and engineering to build the car. Moreover, we created particular topics and content for ADME students to get exclusive insight from the well-known workplace like HRAP: Automotive Industry Trend & Product Planning, Styling Design in Automotive Development Process, Engineering Design, Problems solving, and Production process. Hopefully, we can be corporate to build knowledge based between industry and university, and Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd will keep R&D in Thailand along the road infinitely. Thank you very much, HRAP team, for sharing knowledge with us. The professional team created by Asst. Prof. Sunhapos Chantranuwathana, Asst. Prof. Nuksit Noomwong, Assoc. Prof. Chanat Ratanasumawong, and Ajarn Chatchanee Pakavatsoontorn
