ISE COMMUNITY SERVICE AND CULTURAL TRIP OF AY 2019/2
ISE and International Affairs of Engineering Student Committee organized the “ISE Community Service and Cultural trip” in Rayong Province as part of exchange program for inbound exchange students of Academic Year 2019/2. The participating exchange students came from several countries including France, Indonesia, Japan and U.S.A. On February 15, 2020, we began the trip with the community service activity. Both exchange students and Thai students learned the construction of crab condos to create biodiversity of mangrove forest ecosystems and released mangrove crabs into their natural habitat at Rayong River at Mangrove Forest Conservation Group. In the evening, there were ice breaking games and cultural exchange activities. On February 16, 2020, we visited Old Town Rayong, Yom Jinda Road where exchange students learned Thai lifestyle, culture, and enjoyed peaceful environment. ISE Community Service and Cultural trip of AY 1/2019
On September 14-15, 2019, International Affairs of Engineering Student Committee organized an ISE exchange program activity “Community Service and Cultural trip” for Inbound Exchange Student Academic year 1/2019 in Kanchanaburi Province We began the trip with the community service activity. Both foreign and Thai students made colorful vocabulary books as English learning materials for elementary students at Ban Sao Hong School. Additionally, the exchange students taught local children using simple English words and played fun games with them at the playground. There were lots of laughter and good time with them. In the evening, there were ice breaking games and culture exchange activities. The participating exchange students came from several counties including France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, China and Philippines. On September 15, 2019, we visited “Mallika City” where exchange students learned Thai lifestyle during King Rama IV-V’s era and enjoyed peaceful nature. It was a very memorable and meaningful experience for exchange students and they all had made new friends with Thai buddies.

Inbound Exchange Orientation
On Friday, August 9, 2019, ISE organized the Orientation for International Students and Exchange Students of the First semester, AY 2019 In this semester, we have 38 inbound exchange students from Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland, Additionally, we have 4 full time students from Myanmar, China, The Philippines, and South Korea. In the orientation, students received information about Chula ISE, the facilities on the campus and other necessary general information.
Lecturers Quality Assurance Meeting
On August 6, 2019, ISE organized a Lecturers Quality Assurance Meeting. The objective of the meeting is to brainstorm ideas to improve teaching and learning strategy based on AUN-QA standard. There were over 30 participants including the curriculum management committee and and lecturers of ADME, AERO, ICE, NANO and Robotics AI Programs. They gave useful feedback comments and constructive suggestions. We are thankful all the participants and are looking forward to seeing you again next year.
Klai Rung team
The "Klai Rung" team, comprised of Aerospace Engineering students from Chulalongkorn University, has competed in the Cessna/Raytheon Missile Systems Student Design Build and Fly 2019 hosted by AIAA which was held at the TIMPA facility in Tucson, AZ, USA and achieved a rank of 27th from 104 teams from all around the world. The team would like to express our utmost gratitude for all the support and knowledge our mentors and sponsors have given us. The team recongises that without the extraordinary support, the team would never have achieved this amazing feat.
