AerCap Announces Scholarship Program with Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University,Faculty of Engineering Supporting the growth and development of aviation in the SE Asia Region BANGKOK – Thursday, February 17, 2022 - AerCap Holdings N.V. (“AerCap” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AER) today announced it will provide 10 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Engineering at the International School of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s number one ranked university and a world-class leader in aerospace engineering education. Over a 4-year period, AerCap will provide 10 fully funded scholarships to students of the undergraduate degree program in Aerospace Engineering. In addition to the scholarships, AerCap will provide a range of tailored supports to students, including guest lectures and workshops, and summer internships. As part of the scholarship program, final year students will undertake a research project in collaboration with AerCap. The project will focus on AerCap’s environmental objectives, to transition to a lower-carbon economy through the purchase of new technology fuel-efficient aircraft, to reduce its carbon footprint and to drive sustainable growth for its airline customers and the wider aviation industry. AerCap has been leasing aircraft to Thai customers for over 40 years. During this time, AerCap has developed deep ties with the Thai aviation industry through its partnership with Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, Air Asia X Thailand and Nok Air. Future Innovators learn “Jobs to be done” theory by Professor Dr. Clayton M Christensen, Harvard Business School.
A group of 34, 3rd-year ISE Nano engineering students had the opportunity to learn the exciting “Jobs to be done” theory of Innovation from #PacRim Group “Find Out WHY” program. This session was organized by Dr. Aniwat Tandaechanurat, who leads the Introduction to Nanoelectronics course [2182440] of NANO program at ISE. Students in this course have the opportunity to apply what they learn as part of their term project – which is to build a “prototype innovative product”. At the PacRim Group session, students learnt WHY innovation fails; how to shift mindset; and use tools to uncover Customer “Jobs to be done”- not only functional needs but also social and emotional needs to ensure higher chance of Innovation success. The winner of Thailand Startup league 2018
Congratulations!!! ISE ICE Students; Kavin Sermsaksakoon, Suppakit Krasettrakarn, Tanapol Wongvanichchot, and Nattapol Puttasuntithum won the winner among 100 teams from competitors around Thailand in Thailand startup league 2018 which were held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). In this competition, there are four categories: 1.Innovative Power Solution 2.Green & Responsible Construction Tech / Public Utility / Infrastructure 3.FinTech and Blockchain 4.E-Commerce and Loyalty Point 5.Chatbot and AI The goal is to hack the idea of each category with code, design, and business within 2 days.

ISE Student activities : AIS Representative guest lecture on Principle of telecommunications to 3rd year ICE program students
ISE Student activities : On Feb 12th, AIS visited ISE to give a talk to ICE 3rd students for the class of Principles of Telecommunications. The speaker, K. Saran Phaloprakarn (Senior Vice President - Fixed Broadband Business Management : AIS) gave a brilliant discourse on wireless communications. In addition to sharing cutting edge 5G and GPON technologies for cellular and fiber systems, K Saran also shared some stories from his 20+ years of experience working in the telecommunications industry. AIS also graciously brought along equipment that demonstrates the working of fiber optic networks and also took students to visit their cell site on top on engineering building 4. Overall the visit was a success and students thoroughly enjoyed the demo and site visit. The ISE would like to thank K. Saran and his team including K. Phongthep and K. Montakarn for offering their time to inspire our students!

ISE ICE students won the second prize at the Tipco Connext hackathon 2018
Congratulations!!! Our ISE ICE senior students, Barame Suwansinpan, Punnawat Suthiyuth, Norapat Phiwkliang, Kittiwat Pheramunchai, Naratorn Benjapattranon, Jiraphat Khongphalang and Ponsathon Charoendee won the second prize at the Tipco Connext hackathon among 27 teams in Health&Wellness Tech. topic during August 17-19, 2018.

ISE Student activities : Google Thailand visit
On January 31st, 2018 ISE took the 4th year of Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering to visit Google Thailand. The goal of the visit was to expose students to the real-life working environment.The visit was very fruitful, students enjoyed being outside the classroom environment. They immersed themselves in the office surroundings and learned about the various google innovation products and services. The visit will be allow our students to be able to realize their underlying potential. It doesn't matter which university they are from, but as long as they push themselves and pursue their goal, all of them have the potential to grow and succeed.

ISE ICE students won the award of the SCB Techday 2018
Congratulations!!! ISE ICE Students; Kavin Sermsaksakoon, Suppakit Krasettrakarn, Tanapol Wongvanichchot, and Nattapol Puttasuntithum are awarded 2nd runner-up and Phumin Aphichaichatchaval, Theerapat Kittisrisawat, Thitipa Titayastan, Phraewa Nimitkul, Chanya Jirakawinvanich were awarded 3rd runner among 20 teams from various students all around Thailand in the SCB Techday 2018 which were held at SCB headquarter. In this competition, student teams are assigned to four categories include e-commerce, retail, wealth, and corporate. Each team will come up with idea and prototype. The goal is to help customers in each category using technology.
