AUN/SEED-Net Monitoring Visit of Fiscal Year 2020 at Chula Engineering
On Thursday 29, October 2020, AUN/SEED-Net and ISE organized the monitoring session for graduate program scholarship students of Fiscal Year 2020. Currently, Chula Engineering has 13 graduate students studying in 4 major fields, namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. They are originally from Cambodia, Philippines, Lao, Myanmar, and Vietnam. There were nearly 20 participants which consisted of associate dean of Faculty of Engineering, deputy director of ISE, advisers, ISE staff, and scholarship students. The main purpose of the monitoring session was to assess their study and research progress and update the financial regulations of collaborative research programs. In addition, there was information related to the opportunities for AUN/SEED-Net alumni network and available financial resources for the networking and career enhancement after graduation.

ADME field Trip at ISUZU
On April 5,2017 ISE and Aj Sunhapos Chantranuwathana took ADME (Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering) 3rd year students to visit Isuzu Motors Company (Thailand) Limited. The goal of the visit was to expose students to the world of automotive manufacturing including assembly line. The visit was very fruitful, students enjoyed exploring outside the classroom environment. They immersed themselves in the plant surroundings and learned a lot of various automotive manufacturing technology. The highlight of the trip was a visit to watch the live assembly process and also the painting system. All of them recognized that this interesting events take a lot of effort to organize.

Exploring Engineering World workshop: Design Thinking
On Tuesday 30 January 2018 Dr. Porramate Chumyim, a program manager from Nation Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office, who is also an editor-in-chief for the ASEANER magazine and a Fullbrighter & Thai Royal Golden Jubilee scholar, gave a workshop on “Design Thinking” to freshman students in “Exploring Engineering World” course.

On May 16, 2018, Mr. Martin Cainan , Director, Executive Education, École des Ponts Business School, Mr. Raphaël Goué, General Mamager, Euracific Strategies, Mr. Myunmo Zaw, Project Director, Euracific Strategies, and Ms. Achara Jesdaviriya, Business Analyst, Euracific Strategies visited Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
