2nd AUAP-VEX International Robotics Competition
2nd AUAP-VEX International Robotics Competition, March 14-17, 2022 The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), in cooperation with Siam University (SU), Thailand and VEX Robotics, Innovation First International (Wuhan) Ltd., USA., will organize the 2nd AUAP-VEX International Robotics Competition, scheduled on 14-17 March 2022, and to be conducted virtually. The recent disruption to the conventional ways of teaching and learning has ushered in the new ways to develop, and transform Higher Education systems. Further, the ever-growing demand for modern technologies has reinforced the notion that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be the main technology of the future; and it is anticipated to revolutionize our world. Thus, the Secretariat would like to build on the achievements of the 2nd AUAP-VEX Robotics Competitions. The coming event will focus on the comprehensive application of robots, and the technical skills of the participating teams. Due to its innovative nature, we expect the tournament to be more intuitive, intense, and entertaining. The participating teams will independently build robots, and compete virtually. e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC) 2021-22
The e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC) is a flagship initiative of the e-Yantra project, organized annually for Engineering & Technical students. It's actually a robotic MOOC that teaches skills in Embedded Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Control Systems, Functional Programming, Image Processing and other contemporary areas. Participating teams are allotted "themes" that are abstractions of real-world problems. Themes are allotted in a selection process taking into account participants' skills and parent discipline. Over the past 9 years, e-Yantra Robotics Competition has seen exponential growth in the number of registrations from around 4500 registrations in 2012 to 34,500 - only in India. The competition runs over 6-7 months during which participating teams work under the expert guidance of e-Yantra mentors. Prizes are cash and a coveted 6-week summer internship at IIT Bombay. The competition requires only a basic knowledge of programming - e-Yantra trains students (online) from scratch in the competition. ISE Community Service and Cultural trip of AY 1/2019
On September 14-15, 2019, International Affairs of Engineering Student Committee organized an ISE exchange program activity “Community Service and Cultural trip” for Inbound Exchange Student Academic year 1/2019 in Kanchanaburi Province We began the trip with the community service activity. Both foreign and Thai students made colorful vocabulary books as English learning materials for elementary students at Ban Sao Hong School. Additionally, the exchange students taught local children using simple English words and played fun games with them at the playground. There were lots of laughter and good time with them. In the evening, there were ice breaking games and culture exchange activities. The participating exchange students came from several counties including France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, China and Philippines. On September 15, 2019, we visited “Mallika City” where exchange students learned Thai lifestyle during King Rama IV-V’s era and enjoyed peaceful nature. It was a very memorable and meaningful experience for exchange students and they all had made new friends with Thai buddies.

Inbound Exchange Orientation
On Friday, August 9, 2019, ISE organized the Orientation for International Students and Exchange Students of the First semester, AY 2019 In this semester, we have 38 inbound exchange students from Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland, Additionally, we have 4 full time students from Myanmar, China, The Philippines, and South Korea. In the orientation, students received information about Chula ISE, the facilities on the campus and other necessary general information.
