Let's celebrate their incredible achievements and commend AerCap for their dedication in promoting ESG initiatives in the aviation field.
Congratulations to Nano-Engineering Students for Wining in the IEEE NANO 2024!
Congratulations to Natchanon Jiwarawat, Thapan Leukulwatanachai, and Kunbhass Subhakornphichan, Nano-Engineering Students for wining in the IEEE NANO 2024! We are proud to announce that our 4th-year Nano-Engineering students, Natchanon Jiwarawat, Thapan Leukulwatanachai, and Kunbhass Subhakornphichan, along with Nano alumni Siwagorn Limwathanagura and Sittinadh Wanotayan, under the guidance of Dr. Porpin Pungetmongkol (ISE), have made significant strides in their research endeavors. Their innovative work, titled “RAPID AND LOW-COST FABRICATION OF GRAPHENE FROM PENCIL LEAD,” has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious 24th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEE-NANO 2024), which will be held from July 8-11, 2024, in Gijón, Spain. Following their presentation, Natchanon Jiwarawat, Thapan Leukulwatanachai, and Kunbhass Subhakornphichan were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the conference with an award in the NANO Student Design Competition (SDC). This accolade highlights their dedication and the high quality of their research. Building on this success, the team further extended their research, culminating in the publication of their work titled "ELECTROCHEMICAL EXFOLIATION OF GRAPHENE FROM PENCIL LEAD" in the journal, Scientific Reports, a Nature publication. We invite you to explore their groundbreaking work at this link (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-024-66825-0).
Dr. Jing Tang was invited to join panel discussion at Thailand Digital Talent Summit.
On May 31, 2024, Dr. Jing Tang, Lecturer of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program at the International School of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, was invited to be a panelist at the Thailand Digital Talent Summit 2024. The summit, a collaborative effort by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the Ministry of Labor, and Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., was held at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. This engagement follows the April 2024 memorandum of understanding signed between Chulalongkorn University and Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., focusing on digital transformation and talent development within Thailand. Dr. Tang’s participation as a panelist on the critical topic of “Cultivating High-End Innovative Talents for Cloud and AI Development” stems from this strategic partnership and aligns with her research trajectory. Dr. Jing Tang was invited to be one of the panelists together with Assoc. Prof. Yang Ya (Director of Programming and Advanced Computing Innovation Practice Base, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China), Dr. Thanawat Raibroycharoen (Chief Technology Officer, Netizen, Thailand), Ms. Pitchsinee Piansamai (Senior Cloud Consultant, Huawei Cloud Technology), and Mr. Sorawit Assarattana (Vice President of Thai Programmer Association). The session was moderated by Ms. Voraporn Pangboonyanon (Deputy Director, Learning Service Department, Huawei Thailand).
