INTRODUCTION
General duties and responsibilities for each position are as follows:
• Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, conducting class assignments/projects in related to engineering and industry. The medium of instructions is English.
• Help students develop core and soft skills to prepare for today’s competitive industrial environment. Assist students find industry/university positions for industrial training.
• Develop a research program in respective area of expertise. Some initial funding opportunities are available from ISE, Faculty and the university.
• Help ISE in certain administrative tasks
1. Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME)
Specific Job Requirements for the position:
An earned doctoral degree Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with some background in Motor Vehicle Design such as new generation of vehicle powertrain, light weight chassis/structure, electric vehicle, battery management, and autonomous vehicles. Strong background in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro-E, and CATIA is essential. Should be able to teach/demonstrate use of solid models, assemblies, animations and simulation packages etc.
2. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence engineering (Robotics & AI)
Specific Job Requirements for the position:
Have knowledge and ability to conduct research and academic services in Robotics and Relate field, Computer engineering, Robotic Engineering, Sensor and Actuator, System Integrator, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
3. Information and Communication Engineering (ICE)
Specific Job Requirements for the position:
• Experience/ability in conduct and development software program
• Academic background or equivalent work experience in university, government organization or international organization will be of an advantage
• Have proven experience working as part of a research team; experience of collaborations with National researchers / International researchers/ International research projects is an advantage
