ISE ADME-HRAP Special Talk Session for supporting academic knowledge-sharing

On November 22, 2022, Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME) program by Introduction to Automotive Engineering Course invited an honorable guest speaker representative from Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. (HRAP) for knowledge sharing and university and industry joint power link us together.

This year we went so far as to bring design simulations like the Clay Model and VR from the real world of design to our classroom, in which every student has the experience to try to understand how to integrate the working functionality of car design and engineering to build the car.

Moreover, we created particular topics and content for ADME students to get exclusive insight from the well-known workplace like HRAP: Automotive Industry Trend & Product Planning, Styling Design in Automotive Development Process, Engineering Design, Problems solving, and Production process.

Hopefully, we can be corporate to build knowledge based between industry and university, and Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd will keep R&D in Thailand along the road infinitely.

ISE welcomed the representatives from Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) On Thursday 23, 2023, ISE welcomed the representatives from Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI), Dr. Poh Soon Lim, Overseas Business Development Director, and Ms. Noriko Kawamura, Asia Business Group Leader, Global Business Division, MRI. The purpose of this visit was to discuss and exchange views on the potential collaborations on the internship and career program at MRI.
ISE Open House 2023 On Saturday, November 11, 2023, the International School of Engineering (ISE) arranged the “ISE Open House 2023” from 8:00 – 15:00 hrs. This year event is under the concept of “Illuminate the Future: Explore, Connect, Succeed”, the students received all information about admission to the undergraduate programs at ISE and also get to see the Academic Booths, consisting of a wide range of captivating activities from all 5 branches including NANO, AERO, ADME-V, ICE, and Robotics&AI. ISE welcomed the honorable guests from the Embassy of Finland in Thailand It was our privilege to welcome the honorable guests, Mr. Kai Tuorila, Trade and Investment Counsellor, and Dr. Annika Vatanen, Advisor of Labour, Migration and Educational Affairs, from the Embassy of Finland in Thailand, on Friday, September 22nd, 2023. ISE management team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Prof. Dr. Artiwan Shotipruk, Prof. Dr. David Banjerdpongchai, and ICE program lecturer, Dr. Aung Pyae, presented the ISE Programs and ICE Student Projects to our guests. They also discussed the potential collaborations between the Embassy of Finland and ISE. After the conference session at the Faculty of Engineering, Engineering Building 2, Dr. Aung Pyae accompanied our guests to visit the ISE Robotics & Ai Engineering Laboratory, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ronnapee Chaichaowarat, and NANO Engineering Laboratory, presented by team member from Nano-Engineering Innovative Design Center, at Chulapat 14 Building.
Congratulations to Professor Yan Zhao! Congratulations to Dr. Yan Zhao for being graciously appointed as “Professor”. As the Announcement of the Office of the Prime Minister on appointing professor position on 16 August 2023, Associate Professor Yan Zhao has been appointed as Professor in Electrical Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering Chulalongkorn University since October 9, 2020.
